Upcoming Workshops: Join me for a FUN night away creating some amazing fine silver jewelry! That’s right you will create your own masterpiece in REAL silver!! The technique, tools and process I use to teach and assist you, make it super easy!! NO experience is required! Really it is just a fun night, creating something of your own, or for a gift…or both!! The workshop fee is $75.00 and includes EVERYTHING you need to make, up to 4 complete pieces of fine silver jewelry! You will be given 7 grams of silver clay. Plus the necklaces, findings, beads and/or ear wires that you’ll need to have a complete project! You will be supplied the use of all my tools and the use of the kiln that will fire the silver in! Here are some samples of some of type things you’ll be able to create…but the possibilities are endless! If you have never heard about metal clay, come and find out…it is really truly a magical material! You can also learn more on the link What is PMC. This class will cover the very basics of metal clay, but doesn’t go into a lot of detail. It is geared more towards a fun time of creating. Intro PMC Classes:
Pendant and Earring:
In this introduction precious metal clay class you will be working with lump and paste PMC. You will learn how to make a pendant and pair of earrings by shaping and texturing the clay. You will be provided will all the tools and materials to make your creation unique. Once the clay is fired you’ll learn to polish and add oxidation if desired, bringing your one-of a kind pieces to life! You will also learn some basic wire-working techniques leaving with a complete set of jewelry to wear home!
Easy Earrings:
In this introduction precious metal clay class you will be working with lump and paste PMC. You will learn the basics of metal clay including; rolling, shaping, texturing, stamping and attaching metal clay. You will be provided all the tools and materials to make your creation unique. Once the clay is fired you’ll learn to polish and add oxidation if desired, bringing your one-of a kind pieces to life! You will also learn some basic wire-working techniques, making your own ear wires! In this class you will complete 2-3 pairs of earrings depending on the size and shape or your designs.
